The ILA provides a range of services helping people with care needs to live independently.

For example we support people who receive Direct Payments from West Sussex County Council so that they can use the money to set up and manage their own care support. It enables them to have choice and control and to live their lives as they wish.

“It gives me the independence that I need and want and makes me feel like I am an important part of the community…and has built up my self confidence and ability to interact with new people. I could not have done this without my PAs and the ILA.”

And there's more to come ...

The ILA is constantly exploring new ways to improve the lives of people with care needs and their carers. Our aim is to provide a wider range of services to further support people to live independently - all based on what customers tell us they need. We hope to introduce some of these services this year - watch this space!
