What services can we provide?

The range of tasks we can take on extends beyond this, and we can discuss your particular requirements when we discuss the service with you

How does it work?

We call you at home to understand what you'd like Lend a hand to do at a mutually convenient time
During the call we will discuss your preferred day, time and how often, and when you would like the service to start
We will also talk about how we handle holidays, Christmas etc. and any other issues important to you
You can choose whether or not you would like to be there during the cleaning and we will also discuss how best to gain access e.g. whether we will hold a key
We work out how much the service will cost and let you know as soon as possible
You will receive monthly invoices
We will endeavour to provide the same Domestic Assistant each time
People have told us that they prefer us to use their own cleaning materials because they like particular products and / or have allergies to certain ones

Who’s the team?

All our domestic assistants are police checked and receive the training they need to be able to provide the highest quality of service
We are a friendly team who work efficiently to get everything done in the agreed time

Who are we?

The ILA is a charity supporting disabled people to live independently
We have a track record of providing support which is based on our ability to understand and tune into the needs of the individual, and have used these skills to develop Lend a hand
All profits generated by this service help to fund local charitable services
